In the Final Cut, we see a future where you can purchase the Zoe chip for your child. Upon birth, this organic chip records every moment of their life with picture and sound. After death, the footage is sent to a "cutter" who edits together a "rememory" of the highlights of a person's life. Stephanie Romanov is Jennifer Bannister who hires Robin Williams, an experienced cutter to edit her late husband's rememory. The DVD's features are examined and in addition, I chat with Stephanie about her role as the evil attorney Lila Morgan in Angel.

Star Trek First Contact Special Edition On DVD

The best of the Next Generation films comes to DVD in a new special edition. The two disc set's features are examined and the podcast features roundtable interviews with the cast taped back in 1996 for the film's release. Interviews include: Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis, Levar Burton, Alice Krige, James Cromwell, and Alfre Woodard. One of my best and favorite shows due to this charismatic cast. Music is by Victor Stellar. Show to be retired at the end of June 2009.

The epic Sci-Fi Channel mini-series arrives on DVD. I look at some of the disc's special features plus I have an insider's view of the series production with two actors involved. First, Actress Erin Karpluk who is Diana, boyhood friend of the young wizard, Ged played by Shawn Ashmore. She describes her experiences. Following Erin, Actor Peter Kent chats about his dual roles. He supplies the voice of the dragon, in addition to playing the river captain of the guard. Some good insights on this historic production. Music is by Kathleen Reynolds
